Purchasing

• Can I test a typeface before purchase?

  For retail typefaces, installable trial fonts – with limited charset – is available on each font page. For further questions, please mail support@nymarktype.co.

• Where else can I purchase your typefaces?

  Currently fonts can be purchased from this website and from YouWorkForThem.

• Do you offer discounts?

  Bundled fonts comes with a 20% discount. Please reach out to support@nymarktype.co if you think there’s a bundle missing.

• Do you charge VAT?

  For residents within the European union, we charge VAT. To apply the zero VAT rate, a valid VAT identification number can be provided during checkout. If you prefer to be invoiced, reach out to support@nymarktype.co and I’ll set it up.

• What is your exchange and refund policy?

  Due to the nature of a digital download, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final. Please make sure to check your order carefully, refunds and exchanges cannot be given. Faulty fonts will be replaced.

• What licens do I need?

  Our fonts come with a combination of desktop + webfont license. If you don’t know how many pageviews you have – e.g. starting a new business – you’ll start with the small license. If you exceed the allowed pageviews for three consecutive months, you should upgrade the license. When you need to upgrade, send an email with your order details to support@nymarktype.co and we’ll provide a discount code.

• Will I get a proper invoice?

  You will get an invoice from Paddle, who handle all sales. They are specialised in managing purchases including tax collection and invoicing for each country. After purchase, you can customise your invoice to fit your requirements.

Licensing

• Do you offer server installations?

  As in "a service allowing non-licensed user to utilise the font to create a product" e.g. a t-shirt? We probably offer that. Please mail support@nymarktype.co and tell us what you plan to do.

• How about ePub, digital ads, […] or […]?

  Sure. Let’s talk more specifics. Send an e-mail support@nymarktype.co and how you plan to use it.

• Do I need to renew my license?

  Whenever you buy a licens from Nymark Type, it’s a one-time fee for a lifetime licens. No further payments needed.

• Can I share a license with my client?

  If the clients own the license, you’re allowed to do work for them using the fonts if it’s within the limits allowed by the license. As soon as you’re finished with the work, you need to uninstall the fonts.

• Who needs to buy the font? Me or my client?

  If you buy it, you can use it for other projects. If client buys it, you can only use it when you do work for that client if it’s within the limits allowed by the license.

• Do you offer special licensing for students or schools?

  Sure, we have a student license. This license don’t allow you to publish work using the font e.g. in an online portfolio or Behance. Are you to publish this anywhere you need to buy a license first. Reach out to support@nymarktype.co to get the fonts with a student license.

Other

• Is it ok to modify the fonts?

  You are not allowed to edit the font software directly. You are allowed to edit the letterforms in programs like Adobe Illustrator. If you require modifications, please contact support@nymarktype.co. Please note – depending on the modification – I will charge for the hours involved unless it’s a benefit for everyone else using the font.

• What font formats do you offer?

  By default we supply static fonts as OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files. Variable fonts are provided as TTF. For other needs, please contact support@nymarktype.co.

• Do you offer variable fonts?

  Most often we do.

• Do you offer custom typefaces?

  Yes. Please contact info@nymarktype.co and describe your project and needs.
